I’m Brendan Rook, the independent designer behind Rook Creations. I help small businesses improve how they present themselves online through modern, cohesive, and easy-to-use websites.
How I approach a project
I listen first. Before any visual work begins, a questionnaire helps me understand the business, the customers it serves, the goals behind the website, and the feeling it should leave people with.
From there I create a concrete sample rather than asking a client to imagine a direction. Seeing real design makes feedback specific and productive.
Then we work through revisions together. I communicate clearly about what is changing and why, and I keep refining copy, layout, imagery, and responsive behavior until the site genuinely represents the business.
Why I created Rook Creations
Rook Creations exists to offer a personal, collaborative website-design experience. Clients work directly with me from the first question to launch — there is no handoff to someone who never heard the original conversation.
A successful website should communicate clearly, build confidence in the business, and make the next step easy. That is the standard I hold every project to.
